How It Works: Whether you’re at home or away, your armed ADT home alarm system is providing protection around the people and things you value most.When your home security system or sensor is triggered it will send out both an audible alarm sound and simultaneously transmit a signal from the control panel to the ADT 24-Hour Customer Monitoring Center.
Once the signal is received at the monitoring center, an ADT professional will call you to see if you are alright.
If you report an emergency or if there is no response from you to our phone call attempts, the ADT monitoring professional will alert the police, fire department or emergency response personnel if needed.
Using state-of-the-art communication technology throughout our command centers, our trained staff of professionals are ready to provide you with fast and reliable home security services.
